    How safe is ICICI?

    Hi,

I've got some savings invested in the ICICI HiSAVE fixed rate bond, but wanted to know if my savings are safe with them and whether they're covered by the financial services compensation?

    Thanks,

    Jade

    Jade,

ICICI Bank UK PLC is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. This means that you'll get the same level of cover as other UK banks and building societies in that 100% of the first £35,000 is covered.

For more information about who owns who and who has a banking licence check our guide.
