0% Purchase Rates – Gold & Platinum Explained

Many cards now offer 0% deals for a limited period on purchases, after which a much higher rate will be payable. They are suitable if you are looking to make a large purchase and will give the most benefit if you then pay this off during the introductory purchase term. The length of the 0% deal varies depending on the credit card, as does the interest rate the card reverts to once the deal is over. You should check what rate will be charged on the outstanding balance once the deal ends.
