The winners of the 2013 Investment Life & Pensions Awards were announced last night at the Lancaster London Hotel.

Over 400 industry professionals from the UK's leading financial institutions gathered at a special dinner hosted by TV presenter Patrick Kielty.

Thirty-eight awards were presented to recognise those companies that have consistently offered the most competitive products, the best levels of service and shown the greatest innovation during the last 12 months.

"By combining the analytical expertise of our research team and the feedback of advisers who deal with these products on a daily basis, the Investment Life & Pensions Moneyfacts Awards are much admired for the rigorous approach they take," said Richard Eagling, Editor of Investment Life & Pensions Moneyfacts.

"This year's winners have shown a real desire to strengthen their product ranges and boost service levels in at attempt to demonstrate why advisers should be recommending them over their rivals in the post-RDR landscape. As a result, they can truly claim to be leaders in their respective fields."
