Alliance & Leicester are offering new customers the chance to gain a winter windfall of £100 if they apply online for their Premier Current Account and use their Premier Switching Service to move their account across.

But that's not all, also being offered to new members is free annual multi-trip European travel insurance, a 0% EAR typical overdraft (with no interest or usage fees for the first 12 months) and an AER (variable) rate of 1% on balances up to £2,500.

With this account, you get access via good old face to face banking within an Alliance & Leicester branch, and 24 hours a day, using either the internet, the phone or your mobile phone.

The Premier Switching Service allows you to sit back and let the hard work be taken care of for you; your Direct Debits, standing orders and even your salary will all be redirected to your new account. All you have to do is work out how you want to spend the £100.
