Investec Bank has entered the fixed rate business market with the launch of a top paying account.

The Fixed Rate Platinum Bond pays 3.35% for one year with no early access or additions permitted.

The account is open to UK companies, firms and charities and requires a minimum investment of £250K, although this could limit its appeal.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
