Halifax has increased its 0% balance transfer period, taking it to within just two months of the market leader.

The Halifax Plus MasterCard now charges introductory balance transfers at 0% for 15 months, up from 13 months.

The change takes the product into the top 0% balance transfer tier.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
