Santander has made great strides in the 0% balance transfer market by increasing the introductory term on its credit card.

The Santander Credit Card MasterCard now offers 0% on balance transfers for 17 months (previously 13 months).

Although Santander has also increased the standard purchase rate, it remains below the market average.

This is a competitive product that enters the Moneyfacts Best Buy tables, but there are cards with longer terms available.
