Moneyfacts is pleased to announce that we've expanded our well-known Star Ratings to include Buildings & Contents Insurance, and with the results based on truly impartial analysis, the ratings can be trusted with confidence.

The Moneyfacts Buildings & Contents Star Ratings are based on the weighting of the most relevant product features, outside of the policy premiums, and use our vast knowledge gained from in-depth analysis of these products. As a result, the ratings offer consumers an extra degree of confidence that the home insurance policy offers all the protection they require.

They've been designed to act as an independent badge of approval to make products stand out when you're comparing policies, and can assist you in the important decision-making process.

Samantha Owens, Insight manager from Moneyfacts, commented on the announcement: "With so many products on the market it can be difficult for consumers to be sure they're not missing out on cover they could find elsewhere.

"The annual Moneyfacts Buildings & Contents Star Ratings showcase the most complete products. They highlight policies with the most features and competitive limits, allowing consumers to direct their focus towards the most suitable policy for them."

All winners of 4 and 5 Star Ratings can be found on our website, and make sure to look out for the logo when it's time to compare insurance products!
