Barnsley BS has revealed a new two year fixed rate mortgage with no extended tie-in at the competitive rate of 3.79%.

Open to borrowers with a minimum 25% equity in their home, there's a fee of £495 but a £250 rebate as an incentive for purchases and free legal and valuation fees for remortgages.

The winning combination of a low fee and attractive rate earns the product four out five Moneyfacts stars.
