Britannia BS has launched a range of innovative 15 year fixed rate mortgage products that come with the welcome bonus of added flexibility.

At three year intervals during the 15 year terms, consumers have the ability to redeem or overpay by any amount. Furthermore, there is the option to switch to another mortgage offered by the society that can be exercised without an early repayment penalty.

This facility means that borrowers can practically view the product as three, six, nine and 12 year mortgages rolled into one, but with the choice to keep the option to continue the deal for its full duration should a more attractive deal not be available at each three year juncture.

The deals are priced at 5.94%, 6.19% and 6.54% to 60%, 70% and 85% maximum loan to value respectively, and have no arrangement fee.
