HSBC's new range of mortgage includes an excellent discounted variable rate deal.

Available at just 2.49% with a £249 booking fee, it is a clear market leader at the 60% loan-to-value mark.

As an added incentive for remortgages, there's free legal fees in England and Wales or a £400 rebate in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

As a result of its outstanding rate, we've awarded this product four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
