Mansfield BS has launched a three year mortgage with a fixed rate of 4.09% to replace its 4.59% option.

Specifically, the rate lasts for three years and has a maximum LTV of 75%, a £999 fee and the incentive of a refund valuation with a maximum value of £400, which will keep initial costs to a minimum.

The product is also attractive as it allows overpayments - a real advantage in the present economic climate.

This offer has been awarded four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
