National Counties BS has launched two brand spanking new five year fixed rate mortgage deals.

The best rate available is 4.69%, and, at the required level of 80% loan-to-value (a 20% deposit), it has become the lowest rate on the market.

The fee of £895 can be bettered by other deals in the market, but this comes at the expense of having to pay a slightly higher rate.

A mortgage deal which definitely makes its mark, it earns four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
