Principality Building Society has raised the stakes with its new discounted variable rate mortgage.

A rate of 2.99% in combination with a free valuation, a £250 rebate incentive, and the absence of an arrangement fee, make this an attractive package for all borrowers.

An excellent all-rounder, this mortgage deal earns four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
