Woolwich from Barclays has unveiled a new and rather attractive variable tracker rate mortgage for term.

The deal offers a rate of 2.68% to borrowers with at least a 30% deposit.

It also carries no fee and has a more than generous incentive of free valuation and legal fees, as well as a £300 rebate.

This product also has the advantage of allowing the borrower to switch to one of the lender's fixed rates at anytime.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars are a just reward.
