Abbey International has launched a new three year fixed rate bond that will be welcomed by offshore investors who are faced with slim pickings at present.

The 3 Year Fixed Rate Bond pays a yearly rate of 3.85% on a minimum investment of £100K. Early access and further additions are not permitted.

This is one of the top rates in what is quite a limited market, and investors will need to determine the amount they wish to deposit as further activity is forbidden.

Nevertheless, a top rate is available to those with the necessary funds and four out of five Moneyfacts stars are well deserved.
