Abbey International increases offshore rates

Abbey International increases offshore rates

Category: Offshore savings
Date: 3/3/2011

Abbey International has increased the rates on offer on its three and five year offshore accounts.

The Sterling 3 Year Fixed Deposit Contract now pays 4.01% (+0.26%), while the five year version of the product pays 4.50% (+0.50%).

This monthly review of selected fixed rates sees the accounts increased to market leading rates. The high minimum investment of £100K may, however, limit the overall appeal.

As is common with most fixed bonds, no flexibility for withdrawals or additions is permitted during the term.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
