Bradford & Bingley International should be saluted after increasing the interest rate on its One Year Fixed Rate Bond.

Offshore savers can now enjoy a rate of 3.00%, high enough to make it a market leader in its field.

The low minimum investment of £5K should ensure it has widespread appeal.

However, savers will have to make sure they can commit the necessary funds for the full term, as no early access is permitted.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars are a fitting reward.
