Abbey International is hard for offshore savers to ignore after the introduction of a new two year fixed rate bond.

Paying 3.50% AER, the rate is a market leader in the two year field.

However, a high minimum investment of £100K and the requirement to have a Call account may limit its appeal.

As is common with fixed rate bonds, no flexibility for withdrawals is offered, so savers will need to be certain they can commit funds for the full term.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars are Abbey International's reward.
