Alliance & Leicester has launched Issue 7 of its Online Saver account, reaffirming its position as a market leader in no notice accounts.

The product is an internet operated account that pays a yearly rate of 2.75% on a minimum investment of £1K. Rate includes 2.25% bonus for 12 months and transactions are made via linked current account.

Investors may wish to reassess their options once the bonus period expires, but this account should still prove popular and has been awarded four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
