Bradford & Bingley has launched a one year fixed term branch based account.

The Super Saver Issue 7 matures on 1.6.10 and pays a yearly rate of 5.50% (5.37% monthly) on a minimum investment of £1.

To take advantage of this top rate, clients must have or open an instant access Bradford& Bingley savings account while also investing an equal amount in a qualifying investment product.

It's also worth bearing in mind that no further additions are permitted and early access is only permitted on closure, although there is no penalty for doing so.
