Chelsea BS has launched an over 50s Cash ISA, which is aimed at those eligible for the extra tax free allowance from 6 October.

This instant access account pays a monthly rate of 2.72% on a minimum investment of £5.1K. A minimum investment of £10K pays 3.25%. Transfers in are accepted and transfers out are without penalty.

The offer is open to those born before 6.4.60.

The straight forward instant access account should prove popular and has been awarded four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
