Derbyshire BS has improved its popular internet savings account, having significantly increased the bonus on offer to 2.18%.

The higher rate of 3.18% leaves the underlying rate of 1.00% unchanged.

It is now far more competitive, raising its position within its sector to the market-leading internet account.

A review will be required, however, when the bonus expires.

A maximum five out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
