Tesco Bank has done its bit to help savers by increasing the rate available on its Internet Saver account.

Now paying 2.90%, the increase has come about as a result of a rise in the 12 month bonus to 1.65%.

The move means Tesco Bank has improved its position within the no notice internet account market.

However, savers must remember to review the account's competitiveness in a year's time once the bonus has expired.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
