Furness Building Society has fired up its children's savings rates with increases to both its Junior ISA and Child Trust Fund accounts.

Both products have had their rates increased by 0.55% and now offer 3.05%.

The 'JISA' now sits just below the current market leader so should prove popular.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
