Ulster Bank has launched a new instant access account that sits nicely within the top ten products in its class.

The Pathway is a telephone and internet operated account with a minimum investment of £10K paying 3.60% yearly. This Rate includes 1.00% bonus for 6 months. Cash card is available, while money must be new to the institution.

This account should prove popular with investors who have £10K or more to invest, while the ability to operate it by either telephone or on the interest will add to its appeal, as will the availability of a cash card.

The Pathway account has been awarded four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
