The Post Office has increased the rate of interest paid on its online bonus account.

The Online Saver Issue 3 has been launched with its rate and bonus increased by 0.25%, taking the rate to 2.85%

The rate now includes a 1.20% (previously 0.95%) bonus for 12 months. The monthly option has also increased.

The new rate offered improves the position of Post Office to within the top six of no notice internet accounts. A review will be required in 12 months when the bonus expires.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
