Lloyds TSB is looking good after increasing the rate on its Monthly Saver account by 3.00%.

Now offering a rate of 5.00%, the rise is excellent news for savers who either hold a current account with Lloyds TSB or are prepared to open one.

The account offers the additional benefits of allowing unlimited withdrawals without notice or penalty, while contributions can be amended if necessary.

For a highly competitive rate, four out of five Moneyfacts stars are Lloyds TSB's handsome reward.
