Newcastle BS has launched a new market leading no notice variable rate internet account .

Maturing on 30.6.11, the Newcastle Online Saver pays a yearly rate of 2.50% (2.25% monthly) on a minimum investment of £1 (£1K for the monthly option).

This is a no strings attached account that should prove popular but investors should be aware that when the account matures on 30.6.11 a new home for their funds will have to be found.

The product has been awarded four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
