Manchester Building Society has increased the rate offered by its Platinum Instant Issue account.

The current market-leading instant access account has been increased by 0.15%, now paying 3.06%, and also sits top in the non internet no notice market.

Whilst withdrawals have been reduced down to three per year, this is unlikely to deter investors, nor is the low maximum investment of £50K.

With additions being permitted only until 30 April, investors will need to act fast to gain the high return.

Five out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
