Manchester BS has brought some sunshine to the savings market by increasing the rate on its Premier Instant account.

Now paying 3.06%, this instant access account offers the best rate outside of those which are internet based.

The rate is also guaranteed to be at least 1.75% until January 2015, while three withdrawals are allowed per year.

A minimum investment of £1K is required, but additional investments are welcome until January 2012.

Offering a top notch rate and added flexibility, this account has been awarded the full five out of five Moneyfacts stars.
