Manchester BS has made a great impression with its new instant access account.

Paying 2.91%, the new instant account is the top no bonus account in the non-internet no notice market.

Although withdrawals are limited to four per year, this is unlikely to put savers off.

The account requires a minimum investment of just £1K, with additional investments being welcome until 16 April 2012, up to a maximum of £50K.

An excellent rate for an instant access account, this deal earns four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
