Manchester Building Society is making waves in the savings market with its new instant access account.

Premier Instant Issue 9 pays a rate of 2.71%, high enough to make it a market leader.

Savers must bear in mind that only three withdrawals are permitted each year.

They will also need to ensure that funds are deposited before 4 March, as no additions are permitted after this date.
