Manchester BS has extended its range of variable rates with the launch of a 45 day option which is the market leader in its field.

The Premier Notice Issue 34 pays a yearly rate of 3.31%, including a 1.50% for 12 months, and requires a minimum investment of £1K (maximum £75K).

In common with many new notice accounts no earlier access to funds is allowed, while withdrawals are restricted to four per year which will mean careful budgeting is required.

As additions are only permitted until 11 November 2011, quick action will be required to maximise returns.

A review will be required after 12 months when the 1.50% bonus expires.

Five out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
