Mansfield Building Society has increased its 1 Year Variable Rate Bond to a market-leading rate of 3.00%.

Between £500 and £400,000 can be invested and further additions are permitted whilst the issue remains open.

Early access is allowed, although this is upon account closure and a 90 day loss of interest penalty.

Savers of all ages can operate this account, either in branch or by post.
