Norwich & Peterborough BS has made further strides into the internet fixed rate market with the launch of its One Year E-Bond.

Paying 3.65% on maturity of a minimum £1K investment, the rate sits within the top five one year bonds on the market and should prove popular if you're an investor happy to use the internet.

Further additions are not permitted so you should look to invest as much as possible from the outset.

The ability to close the bond early adds a degree of flexibility, although there'll be a 50 days' loss of interest penalty.

A top rate means this product has been rewarded four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
