Norwich & Peterborough BS has unveiled a new issue of its E-Saver account which is sure to grab savers' attention.

An internet operated notice account requiring a minimum investment of £1, the account pays 1.00% yearly.

An additional 1.55% bonus is paid on the first anniversary of the account, as long as it has remained open for the full year.

A review of the account's competitiveness is advisable once the bonus has been paid.
