Cash ISAs remain a firm favourite with savers who do not wish to pay tax on their interest. There is a wide variety of cash ISAs available, from fixed rate cash ISAs to instant access. When searching for the best cash ISA deal, it is important to check the terms of the account to make sure it suits your needs. Here is a selection of the best cash ISAs currently available, all of which include an introductory bonus.

Newcastle Building Society – Reward Saver ISA

The Reward Saver cash ISA account pays 2.75pc on its anniversary including a bonus of 1.00pc for twelve months. Savers can invest a minimum of £500, while transfers in are accepted too. Advance notice of 120 days is required to access funds, although early access is allowed, subject to 120 days loss of interest. Savers have the option to split funds across multiple ISAs within Newcastle's range. This cash ISA account is available to savers aged 18 and over and can be operated in branch, by post or telephone.

Birmingham Midshires – ISA Extra

This cash ISA account pays 2.70pc on its anniversary including a 1.00pc bonus for fifteen months. A monthly interest option is also available at 2.67pc including a 0.98pc bonus for fifteen months. Interest is paid after one year, then again when the fifteen month bonus period expires, and then annually afterwards. Savers can invest a minimum of £500, while transfers in to the cash ISA are accepted too. No notice is required to access funds, although all withdrawals must be made by cheque. This cash ISA account is available to savers aged 16 and over and can be operated by post only.

Cheltenham & Gloucester – C&G Cash ISA

This cash ISA account pays 2.70pc on its anniversary including a 1.70pc bonus for twelve months. A monthly interest option is also available at 2.67pc including a bonus of 1.68pc for twelve months. Savers can invest a minimum of just £1, while transfers in are also accepted. Funds in the cash ISA can be accessed immediately. This cash ISA account is available to savers aged 16 and over and can be operated in branch or by post. All postal withdrawals must be made by cheque.
