Individual Savings Accounts, or ISAs as they are commonly known, are a popular choice among investors as the interest accrued is interest free.

Although there are a few months to go until ISA season, there are still a range of competitive ISA products to choose from.

Here is a selection of some of the best deals available at the moment.

AA - AA Internet Access ISA (Issue 2)

  • This account pays a variable rate of 3.05% on its anniversary including a bonus of 1.35% for twelve months.
  • Savers can invest a minimum of £500.
  • No advance notice is required to access funds, although all withdrawals must be made via a nominated account.
  • Transfers in are not accepted.
  • The account is available to savers aged 18 and over and can be operated online only.

ING Direct - ING Direct Cash ISA

  • This account pays a monthly rate of 2.96% including a bonus of 1.96% for twelve months.
  • Savers can invest a minimum of £1.
  • Funds can be accessed without advance notice or penalty, although all withdrawals must be made via a nominated account or transferred to an ING Direct savings account.
  • Transfers in are not accepted.
  • The account can be operated by telephone or online by savers aged 18 and over.

Santander - Flexible ISA Issue 4

  • Santander 's variable ISA pays an annual rate of 2.81% including a bonus of 2.31% variable for twelve months.
  • Savers can invest a minimum of £1.
  • No advance notice is needed to access funds.
  • Transfers in are not accepted.
  • The account is available to savers aged 16 and over and can be operated in branch, by telephone or online.
