The warm summer months can be an expensive time. Spending on holidays and trips out with friends and family can add up, with many savers dipping into their savings to cover costs.

Here is a selection of the current best online no notice accounts for those who may need short-term access to funds.

Egg - Egg Savings Account (Internet) Issue 2

This account from Egg pays 2.80% on its anniversary including a bonus of 2.30% for twelve months. Savers can invest between £1 and £1 million. Must be new money to Egg. No notice is needed to access funds, although all withdrawals must be made via CHAPS or BACS to a nominated account. The account can be operated online only by savers aged 16 and over.

AA – AA Internet Extra Issue 3

This account pays 2.80% on its anniversary including a bonus of 2.30% for twelve months. Investments range between £1 and £1 million. Funds can be accessed immediately without notice or penalty, although all withdrawals must be made via nominated accounts. The account is available to savers aged 18 and over and can be operated online only.

Tesco Bank – Internet Saver

The Tesco Bank Internet Saver account pays 2.75% with a 1.50% bonus for twelve months, for deposits between £1 and £99,999. A lower rate of 1.25%, without bonus, is paid for deposits of £100,000 and over. The bonus applies only to new Internet Saver customers and only one account can be held per person. No notice is required to access funds, although all withdrawals must be made via a nominated account. The account can be operated by savers aged 18 and over online only.
