Saga has made it a day to remember after increasing the rates available on its Internet Saver and Telephone Saver accounts.

Now paying 2.75%, albeit with the inclusion of a 1% bonus for 12 months, the accounts offer a market leading rate for a specialist over 50s account.

The telephone option is now a market leading rate in the non internet no notice account market, while the internet version sits just below the best no notice internet accounts overall.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars are a fitting reward.
