Tesco Bank has increased the rate paid on its one year Fixed Rate Saver account.

It now offers a rate of 3.50% yearly (3.45% monthly) – an increase of 0.25%.

The increase means that the account is now the current market leader, at 3.50%. As is common with short term bonds, there is no flexibility for earlier access to funds.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
