Barnsley BS has launched a new four year bond which offers savers the choice of how they operate their account.

The product offers a rate of 4.25% yearly (4.17% monthly) on a minimum investment of £100. Additions can be made whilst the issue remains open, although no early access is permitted.

When opening the account, savers can choose to operate their account online, by phone and post, or in branch and post.

At 4.25%, these accounts pay a market leading rate and should prove very popular, although investors should be sure they can commit funds for the full term.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
