Hinckley & Rugby BS has launched a new three year fixed rate bond that sits within the top five in its field.

The account is operated by post and offers a rate of 4.65% on investments of £25K and over (£5K – 4.65%). No withdrawals are permitted until the end of the first year, thereafter by cheque, subject to 180 days' loss of interest.

No further additions are permitted and the maximum investment is capped at £300K. Account becomes Easy Access Base Rate Tracker in maturity.

Investors are advised to open the account with the maximum funds in order to fully benefit from this product that has been awarded four out of five Moneyfacts stars.
