Date: 12/1/2011

Vanquis Bank has improved its savings offering by increasing the rate available on its five year account and launching a competitive three year deal.

The five-year fixed rate High Yield has been increased by 0.10% to 4.65% yearly (4.55% monthly).

The new three-year High Yield offers 4.15% yearly (4.07% monthly) and is operated online.

No earlier access or additions are allowed and there is a minimum investment of £1K.

Both bonds sit within the top five rates for their term and so should prove popular.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
