Yorkshire BS has introduced a new fixed rate bond paying a market-leading return.

This internet operated account pays a rate of 3.50% to 31 March 2013.

A minimum investment of £1K is required, with additional monies being welcomed while the issue remains open.

It must be remembered that early access to funds is not permitted during the term, although this is now a commonplace restriction amongst fixed rate bonds.

Four out of five Moneyfacts stars have been awarded.
