Bath BS has reviewed its range of business savings accounts with three heading straight into the Moneyfacts best buys.
First up is the no notice account, with Business Direct paying a competitive 0.85% yearly (0.84% monthly). Business Direct 30 pays a competitive 1.05% yearly (1.04% monthly) while Business Direct 100 (Issue 5) pays 1.30% yearly, including a 0.45% bonus for 12 months, before it reverts to the Business Direct rate.
All accounts are postal operated (although they do allow instructions to be given by email) and require a minimum investment of £2,500 up to a maximum of £250,000.
Both notice accounts allow further additions and withdrawals subject to the notice term, via a nominated account, although the 30 day option only allows a maximum of two electronic transfers per month.
Earlier access is also permitted on the 30 day account, subject to 30 days' loss of interest, but the 100 day account does not allow you to access funds prematurely.
No notice is required to access Business Direct funds and additions are permitted at any time, although again only two electronic transfers per month are allowed.
Paying competitive rates of interest for their terms, these business accounts will make an attractive home for a £2,500 + investment.
Four Moneyfacts Stars have been awarded.
