Bank of Scotland has just released a new purchase MasterCard which offers one of the longest 0% deals on the market.

The basics…

Bank of Scotland 19 Month Platinum Purchase MasterCard offers 0% on purchases for the first 19 months as well as 0% interest on any balance transfers for six months. An introductory balance transfer fee of just 1% s also offered on any balances transferred within the first 90 days.

The finer details…

At the end of the introductory period, the standard purchase rate will revert to 18.9% APR.

Balance transfers made after the initial period will be charged at 18.95% per year, which is the same rate charged for cash advances.

Rates are dependent upon the applicant's credit history.

Why we like it…

This new card from the Bank of Scotland boasts one of the longest 0% purchase terms on the market, which is sure to draw those who are looking to spread the cost of their spending. The low fee on balance transfers made with the first 90 days is also attractive, as the offer of 0% on transfers for the following six months.
