Credit cards Date:
Barclaycard has decreased the introductory balance transfer fee of its leading balance transfer credit card for the second time in as many weeks. As a result, it easily maintains its place in the top 10.
The Barclaycard Platinum 37 Month Balance Transfer Visa now offers an introductory balance transfer fee of 1.50%, while maintaining its introductory balance transfer term of 37 months and six-month 0% interest term for purchases, from date of issue.
Balances must be transferred within 60 days of account opening in order to benefit from the offer. After the introductory periods have ended, balance transfers will be charged at an annual rate of 18.9% and standard purchases will be charged at 18.9% APR.
Borrowers must be at least 18 years old, can apply online, over the phone or by post, and should remember that rates are representative and dependent on credit ratings.
By once again reducing its introductory fee, this Barclaycard credit card has managed to stay in the Best Buy charts and keep its Moneyfacts rating.
