Halifax has extended the interest-free balance transfer term on its fee-free credit card from 18 months to 20, earning it an 'excellent' rating in the process.
0% Balance Transfer Fee Offer MasterCard now has a competitive 20-month interest-free balance transfer term. No introductory balance transfer fee is charged, and borrowers can also benefit from a six-month interest-free period on purchases.

Balance transfers must be made within 90 days of the account being opened in order to qualify for the fee-free 0% interest deal. Transfers made after the introductory offer expires will be charged at 18.95% per annum with a fee of 3.00%, while standard purchases will attract a rate of 18.9% APR.
Borrowers must be 18 years or older to apply and applications can be made online and by post. Borrowers should remember that rates are representative and dependent on their credit history.
